WHEN SHALL THESE THINGS BE? WHAT SHALL BE THE SIGNS OF THY COMING AND THE END OF THE WORLD? Matt. 24:3-13, Mk. 13:3-13, Lk. 21:7-19, 20-24…4  

THE GREAT TRIBULATION continues. Matt. 24:21. The Seven Trumpets continues. Rev. 8:1-9:21. The Seventh Trumpet Rev. 11:15-18.

The sixth seal shows men’s fear of God’s wrath Rev. 6:12-17; the sixth trumpet reveals the wickedness of men Rev. 9:20-21, Gen. 6:5. Two sins especially abominable to God are: (1) worshiping of idols, that is worshiping that which men have made, and (2) worshiping of demons, which is worshiping what God has created and has fallen. Idols cannot see, cannot hear and cannot walk and speak. Jer. 10:3-5, Ps. 115:4-8, but here, the idol mentioned in Rev. 13:15 is able to speak. The source of sin is not recognizing God. Rom. 1:24-32. The seventh trumpet, starts with the announcement by the twenty-four-elders, it also includes the expulsion of Satan from heaven before “the great wrath” of God begins. It should be recalled that the seven trumpets are in the seventh seal, similarly the wrath of God is included in the seventh trumpet. The time of Jacob’s trouble, which we have discussed in previous studies will be in the last 3 1/2 years of Daniel’s 70th week.

  1. Rev. 11:15 “The seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and His Christ…” Ps. 22:28; 72:11; 89:6, 15-17
  2. These voices are definitely the voices of the redeemed in heaven.
  3. Our Lord will reign forever immediately after the judgment of this world. Dan. 2:44-45; 7:13-14, 18, 27, Is. 9:6-7, Lk. 1:32-33. The authority of the kingdom has been given to Christ 1Pet. 3:22, and the time has now come for Him to reign 1Cor. 15:24-28.
  4. Rev. 11:16-18. The twenty-four elders which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces to worship God. What are they saying?
  5. Thanks to the Lord God Almighty… for taking His great power, and hast reigned. Rev. 4:9, Dan. 2:23, Rev. 1:8; 15:3, Ps. 21:13; 57:11
  6. The nations are angry Ps. 2:1-3, Ezek. 38:9-23, Zech. 14:2, Is. 34:1-10
  7. The time of God’s wrath has come Rev. 6:10-11, 
  8. The time to judge the dead. 2cor. 5:10, Is. 26:19
  9. The time to give reward to the saints. Math. 5:12; 16:27, 1Cor. 3:11-15, Rev. 22:12, Dan. 12:3
  10. The time to destroy earth destroyers. 2Thess. 1:7-10
