THE RENEWED WARNING OF FALSE CHRISTS. Matt. 24:23-26

The great tribulation is in fact the wrath of God on the kingdom of the anti-Christ. He is the “prince of the people that shall come Dan.” 9:26-27, Jn. 1:11; 5:43. He is the false Christ who rides on a white horse Rev. 6:1-2.

  1. Rev. 6:1-2. “And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals…And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.” Compare this with Rev. 19:11-21. This one is symbolical: the other is literal.
  2. This one is claiming to be true, that is on a white horse. Matt. 24:4-5, 23-26, Jn. 5:43, Dan. 9:27.
  3. Christ is always symbolized as having a sword, not a bow Ps. 45:3-5, Rev. 1:16; 19:15, 21, while bow has connection with man, and pictures evil designs and conquest. Ps.11:2; 46:9; 58:7, Jer. 49:35.
  4. This rider will cause wars, famines, pestilences, death and hell of the following 3 seals.
  5. The Antichrist is the only person predicted in scriptures as going forth conquering and to conquer at the beginning of Daniel’s 70th week. Dan. 7:7-8, 20-21, 23-24; 8:23-25; 9:27; 11:36-45.
  6. The scripture makes it clear that Satan is the one who gives his crown to Antichrist. Rev. 13:2, 4, Dan. 8:24; 11:38-39, 2Thess. 2:8-12.
  7. This is the Prince that shall come. Dan.9:26-27, Jn. 1:11; 5:43, 2Thess. 2:3-4, 6-7, 8-9, Rev. 6:1-2.
  8. He comes with Satanic powers. 2Theess. 2:8-12, Rev. 13:1-2, 4. The spirit of “the bottomless pit” will be Satan’s agent dominating the Antichrist. Re. 11:7; 17:8.
  9. He is satanically energised, Rev. 13: 2, 4 and he will understand mysteries. Dan. 8:23.
  10. He will have miraculous powers Rev. 13:2-14; 16:13-16; 19:20, and his image will be given life and will do personal acts. Rev. 13:15
  11. He will have a co-worker, the false prophet. Rev. 13:11-18; 16:13-16; 19:20. This 2nd Beast is a deceiver Rev. 13:13-14.
  12. His image to be worshipped by men. Rev. 13: 3-4, 8, 12, 15-16; 14:9-11; 16:2.
  13. All religion will focus on him and he will control all religion. Rev. 13:14-15, Matt. 24:23-26, 2Thess. 2:4, Dan. 8:23-26.
