THE GREAT TRIBULATION continues. Matt. 24:21. The Seven Trumpets continues. Rev. 8:1-9:21. The Expulsion of Satan from Heaven. Rev. 12:7-12

The situation in heaven after sounding the seventh trumpet, includes the casting out of Satan and his angels. This war is just the expulsion of Satan finally from heaven, it will take place during the tribulation. It has nothing to do with the time Satan sinned Is. 14:12-15, Ezek. 28:11-117. The woman in 12:6 is the remnant of Israel in the world during the tribulation. The joy of the heavenly saints and all the host of heaven is the final expulsion of the old serpent from having any access to heaven.

  1. It should be remembered, that God’s eternal program of salvation started with the death of Christ on the cross for our sins, his resurrection gives us live, justification, victory over Satan and death and the presence of Christ as the High priest with His blood on the horns of the alter in heaven, and His seat as eternal High priest. Satan is immediately cast out of the soul and lifes of believer Jn. 12:31-33. This is his final casting out of heaven followed by these announcements.
  2. Michael the archangel. His name means ‘who is like God’. He is the chief of the heavenly angels. Dan. 10:13, 21; 12:1, 7-9, Jude 9, 1Thess. 4:16
  3. The old serpent, the Devil, the dragon and Satan. Rev. 12:9; 13:2, 4, 1Cor. 11:3. He is also called, The god of this world 2Cor. 4:4, the prince of this world Jn. 12:31, the prince of the powers of the air Eph. 2;1-3, the accuser of the brethren Rev. 12:10, the enemy Matt. 13:39, tempter Matt. 4:3, the wicked one Matt. 13:19, 38.
  4. The accuser 1s expelled and will never have access to heaven again Rev. 12:10. He has been having access hitherto, Job. 1:6-12, 1Kg. 22:19-23. Believers have always been discharged and acquitted daily by the blood of the Lamb and our advocate in the right hand of God. 1Jn. 2 1-2.
  5. Rev. 12:10 “And I heard a loud voice saying, ‘Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accuse them before God day and night”
  6. Salvation. God’s salvation plan is now completed. Man is finally saved, delivered, secured, preserved, healed and made sound. He is finally justified, redeemed, forgiven, sanctified, and glorified. The issues of the guilt and penalty of sin, the habits and dominion of sin are all over. He is now entirely saved in conformity to Christ. Rom. 3:11, Heb. 10:36, 1Pet. 1:5, 1Jn. 3:2. God’s eternal program now realised. 1Pet. 1:3-12.
  7. Strength. God’s strength is finally released for men and against the enemy of man. The kingdom of our God. The kingdom of God is now. The full demonstration of the power of His Christ is now.
  8. Rev. 12:10, 12 The courts of heaven are closed to Satan, saints will no longer be accused by him and joy in heaven, Satan no longer have access to heaven.
