Text: Dan. 9:26-27
The determined wrath of God upon the desolator continues. Dan. 9:27
The Seventh Trumpet Rev. 11:15-18.
The seventh trumpet starts with the announcement by the twenty-four-elders, it also includes the expulsion of Satan from heaven before “the great wrath” of God begins. It should be recalled that the seven trumpets are in the seventh seal, similarly the wrath of God is included in the seventh trumpet. This is the time of Jacob’s trouble.
- Rev. 11:15 “The seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and His Christ…” Ps. 22:28; 72:11; 89:6, 15-17
- These voices are the voices of the redeemed in heaven.
- Our Lord will reign forever immediately after the judgment of this world. Dan. 2:44-45; 7:13-14, 18, 27, Is. 9:6-7, Lk. 1:32-33. The authority of the kingdom has been given to Christ 1Pet. 3:22, and the time has now come for Him to reign 1Cor. 15:24-28.
- Rev. 11:16-18. The twenty-four elders which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces to worship God. What are they saying?
- Thanks to the Lord God Almighty… for taking His great power, and hast reigned. Rev. 4:9, Dan. 2:23, Rev. 1:8; 15:3, Ps. 21:13; 57:11

- Rev. 11:19; 12:1…7-12. The situation in heaven after sounding the seventh trumpet, includes the casting out of Satan and his angels. This war is just the expulsion of Satan finally from heaven, it will take place during the tribulation. It has nothing to do with the time Satan sinned Is. 14:12-15, Ezek. 28:11-17. The woman in 12:6 is the remnant of Israel in the world during the tribulation.
- Michael the archangel. His name means ‘who is like God’. He is the chief of the heavenly angels. Dan. 10:13, 21; 12:1, 7-9, Jude 9, 1Thess. 4:16
- The old serpent, the Devil, the dragon and Satan. Rev. 12:9; 13:2, 4, 1Cor. 11:3.
