The Expulsion of Satan from Heaven continues. Rev. 12:7-12

The joy of the heavenly saints and all the host of heaven is the final expulsion of the old serpent from having any access to heaven. It should be remembered that God’s eternal program of salvation started with the death of Christ on the cross for our sins, his resurrection gives us live, justification, victory over Satan and death and the presence of Christ as the High priest with His blood on the horns of the alter in heaven, and His sit as eternal High priest. Satan immediately loses his authority on believer Jn. 12:31-33. However, his final casting out of heaven followed by these announcements is yet of the future. The accuser 1s expelled and will never have access to heaven again Rev. 12:10.

  1. The old serpent, the Devil, the dragon and Satan. Rev. 12:9; 13:2, 4, 1Cor. 11:3. He is also called, The god of this world 2Cor. 4:4, the prince of this world Jn. 12:31, the prince of the powers of the air Eph. 2;1-3, the accuser of the brethren Rev. 12:10, the enemy Matt. 13:39, tempter Matt. 4:3, the wicked one Matt. 13:19, 38.
  2. Rev. 12:10 “And I heard a loud voice saying, ‘Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accuse them before God day and night”
  3. Salvation. God’s salvation plan is now completed. Man is finally saved, delivered, secured, preserved, healed, and made sound. He is finally justified, redeemed, forgiven, sanctified, and glorified. The issues of  the guilt and penalty of sin, the habits and dominion of sin are all over. He is now entirely saved in conformity to Christ. Rom. 3:11, Heb. 10:36, 1Pet. 1:5, 1Jn. 3:2. God’s eternal program now realised. 1Pet. 1:3-12.
  4. Strength. God’s strength is finally released for men and against the enemy of man.
  5. The kingdom of our God. The kingdom of God is now
  6. The power of his Christ. The full demonstration of the power of His Christ is now.
  7. Rev. 12:10. Benefits for the saints. The courts of heaven are closed to Satan. The prosecutor of saints is cast out of heaven once and forever and saints will no longer be accused by him.
  8. Rev. 12:12. Benefits to the inhabitants of heaven. Joy in heaven, Satan no longer have access to heaven.
  9. Rev. 12:12. Woe to the inhabitants of the earth. The devil is come down among them, having great wrath, because he knows he has a short time before been sent to the abyss.
  10. Rev. 12:11. The source of the victory of the Saints.
  11. The blood of the Lamb. Accusations may not always be false, the blood is imperative for us. If God be for us who can be against us. Rom. 8:31-34. Is. 50:7-8
  12. The word of their testimony. Not only what the heart believes, but what the mouth confesses. Rom. 10:6-10, 1Chro. 4:9-10, Num. 14:28-32, cf Num. 13:27-28, 30-32, Num. 14:1-3, 6-9. Note. Jas.3:6-10, 4, Mat. 12:33-35, 37, as the word is spoken, Satan is helpless. 2Cor. 4:13-14.
  13. The willingness to suffer and die for Christ and what they believe. An attitude of not fearing death, putting their lives in jeopardy. Act. 15:26, Heb. 11:17-19, 24-27, Dan. 3:1-6, 12-17, Est. 4:13-16; 5:1-4; 7:1-6.
    The greatest of all temptation is death. If we maintain a right attitude, Satan is beaten.
