Nebuchadnezzar’s Golden image… Dan. 3:1-30.

- Dan. 3:28 “Then, Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Sadrach, Meshach, and Abednego who hath sent his Angel, and delivered his servants that trusted him….” This confirms Jer. 42:12-13, 39:11-12. There are five confessions from the king:

- God made him change his word, ‘changed the king’s word’—have made the king’s attempt to coerce into obedience vain. Have set aside his word (so “alter … word,” Ezr 6:11) from regard to God. Nebuchadnezzar now admits that God’s law should be obeyed, rather than his (Ac 5:29
