THE JUDGMENT OF THE NATIONS…2 Matt. 25:31–46

All nations shall be gathered before him, and shall separate them like a shepherd Ez. 34:17-22. “An accurate separation-no mistakes; self- delusion, hypocrisy, strangely mingled character, nothing will prevent the assignment of each as he really belongs, A separation leading to new companionships-the righteous with the Savior and all the angels-the wicked with the devil and his angels.   1. Matt. 25:34 “Then the King shall say unto them at his right hand, Come, ye blessed of the Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world”
  2. ‘Then the King shall say unto them…’ “The judge-once a homeless wanderer, now enthroned in glory, once despised and rejected Jn. 19:15, now accepting or rejecting-once subjected to unrighteous judgment, now judging the world in righteousness Act. 17:31.” Broadus John A.  Rom. 2:2-6, Is. 32:1; 33:22
  3. ‘Come’ as used in Matt. 11:28, there an invitation to remove the burden of sin, curses, the world, and that of the devil, ‘to a loving trust and service, and so hereafter to a blessed reward’ Rom. 2:7, 10.
  4. ‘Blessed of the Father’. The word is not as used in Matt. 5:3, rendered happy fortunate, enviable, but another, as in Matt. 23:39, Lk. 1:42 which exactly means, ‘my Father blessed ones’, denoting not simply that they have been blessed by him, but that they are his.
  5. “Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world’ Act. 15:18, Eph. 1:4-5, 10-11. Predestinated to obtain an inheritance of the kingdom prepared before the foundation of the world. The lamb who now the King has been slain before the foundation of the world. Rev. 13:8, 1Pet. 1:19-20. It is the father’s pleasure to give you the kingdom. Lk. 12:32, 1Pet. 3:9.
  6. The King and His Kingdom. Zech. 9:9-10, Jer. 23:5, Lk. 1:31-33, Jn. 19:19-22. The kingdom is to be established first over re-gathered, restored and converted Israel, and then become universal Ps. 2:6-8; Ps. 24:1-2; 22:26-31, Is. 1:24-27; 21-22, Zech. 14:16-20  and for one thousand years Rev. 20:2, 4, 5, 6, 7, Rev. 11:15. It is called inter alia:
  7. The regeneration Matt. 19:28, and the restitution (restoration) of all things Act. 3:20-21
  8. The  world (age) to come Matt. 12:23, Mk. 10:30, Eph. 1:21; 2:7; 3:21, Heb. 6:5
  9. The consolation of Israel Lk. 2:25, and the redemption of Jerusalem Lk. 2:38.
